Turn your Atelier Vekkä candle jar into an elegant home fragrance diffuser with this diffusing kit that will provide many scented hours into your home.
This kit contains:
A reusable perfuming branch in the shape of a chestnut tree branch, made of porous porcelain
A pierced beechwood lid from local and sustainable forests from the French Auvergne region
A fragrance for reed diffuser refill diluted in agricultural alcohol coming from the culture of wheat and beet from the western part of France
Before you start using your diffusing kit, make sure your candle container is perfectly clean.
Here are two simple methods to remove wax residue from your jar once your candle is burned out:
Boil a small pot of water and pour it into your candle jar previously filled with a drop of dishwashing liquid and a drop of white vinegar. Wait for a few hours and remove the wax particles before washing your pot with clear water.
Another washing alternative: once your jar is at room temperature, place it in the freezer overnight. The next day, take your jar out and leave it at room temperature for an hour before removing the wax particles (using a fork handle if necessary). Finally, wipe your jar with a cloth, and it will be perfectly clean!
Your Atelier Vekkä jar is clean and you can now begin its metamorphosis into an elegant and efficient reed diffuser!
Pour the fragrance concentrate for reed diffuser into your Atelier Vekkä jar.
Add the pierced wooden lid on top. Soak your porous ceramic chestnut branch inside the jar. During the first use, we recommend to let the stem impregnate itself with perfumed concentrate during 5 to 6 hours then to drain it inside the container before turning it over to let the reed diffusion begin. This gesture can be repeated several times to restart the fragrance diffusion.
Over time and because it is composed of natural materials, it is possible that the color of the perfumed concentrate evolves slightly. Do not worry, this will not alter its olfactory properties nor its quality.
Our tip: because it is reusable, our perfuming branch does not need to be changed as often as your refill. If you wish to change the scent of your diffuser or simply give a small blow of freshness to your branch, soak it during 24 hours in domestic alcohol (odorless) to bring it back to its original condition.
Diffusion time: about a 1,5 months depending on the conditions of use (temperature, humidity rate...). For an optimal diffusion of the fragrance, use the Atelier Vekkä products intended for this purpose.
